Editorial Policy
SebDermLab is committed to objective, scientific, and trustworthy coverage of seborrheic dermatitis. Every piece of content is labeled by evidence level:
Established Evidence
Supported by strong, replicated scientific consensus (systematic reviews, clinical guidelines).
Emerging Research
Backed by preliminary or limited studies. Promising, but not yet conclusive.
Community Experience
Reported by patients and community members. Not yet studied in controlled research.
Hypothesis
A theoretical idea under investigation. Biologically plausible but unproven.
Articles are reviewed for accuracy before publication and updated as new research emerges. Product reviews are written to help readers understand what exists and what evidence supports it — not to maximize sales. Affiliate relationships, where present, never influence the substance of a review.
Community contributions (comments, discussions, journals) reflect individual experiences and are never presented as clinical evidence.
